A construct of elements rolled into thin strips of varying sizes and coated with solutions of silver, mixed into a gelatine compound that creates a light sensitive ‘emulsion’ used for the making of pictures.
I have been making images on film with light since I started making pictures, at first that was the only option but now it is a conscious choice to make images in this way. Not that I don’t love the ones&zer0s but I do like to make images with light.
Proof that my subject matter doesn’t always stray that far.
